Merchandise Design, Social Media Management, Photography, and Videography
Camp AGQ is a sleep-away camp situated on Burt Lake, MI, and is considered a second home by 1300 campers each summer. AGQ’s mission is to put its core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility into action through facilities and programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Since starting my work with Camp AGQ in 2018, I’ve spent my summers working in many different roles, but primarily served as the Merchandise Designer, Social Media Manager, and Business Administrator.

Inspired by the second meaning of the word, I created this minimalist 'camp' hoodie for the 2021 season. The text's colors are meant to both evoke childlike joy and reference the paint colors used on the camp's "pillars"; which each represent one of AGQ's core values.

Using a drawing of the infamous "Stone Porch" by former counselor Micah Johnson-Levy, I created this canvas tote for the 2021 season. The color references the forest green of the 24 cabins on the Camp's grounds.

For the 2021 season, I wanted our primary t-shirt (the shirt every camper receives upon their arrival to camp) to be simple and beautiful enough to be wearable year round. My goal was to call on the beautiful nature of Camp AGQ while keeping the design minimal, clean, and graphic.

In 2022, I wanted to lean into the childlike whimsy that makes Camp the magical place it is. I illustrated this cheery mushroom to act as our mascot this year; choosing a red color to pop against the deep green of the shirt. The hand-drawn stylized text on the shirt imitates plant growth, being pulled up towards the light of the wearer's sunny face.
